As a community driven organization, we work side-by-side with our local farmers and other food distributors to ensure they have an opportunity to actively give back to the community.
ROLLING HARVEST FOOD RESCUE
From spring through early winter, Rolling Harvest Food Rescue provides us with fresh, organic produce gathered from over twenty local farms every week. Our organization receives a wide variety of produce; such as: apples, eggplant, squash, kale, white and sweet potatoes, spinach, carrots, beets, various melons, baby salad mixes, and much, much more. Almost all of the produce we receive is handpicked and delivered within the same day!
APPLEGATE FARMS
Since 2014, we have participated in weekly distributions of natural, organic meat products from Applegate Farms. These distributions, made possible through the Bucks County Opportunity Council, include products such: as preservative-free chicken, turkey and beef lunch-meats, organic chicken, turkey and beef hot dogs, breaded chicken nuggets, whole chicken breast and ham roasts, half-time lunch kits, sausages; and nitrate/nitrite-free pork and turkey bacon.
